I’m so excited to share our Moody Powder Room Makeover with you! When we built this house I wanted all white walls but I have always wanted to do a funky powder room. So, we painted it white with the idea that I would jazz it up in the future. Here’s what it looked like […]
As much as I’ve enjoyed the blank slate after Christmas, my front porch was looking a little sad. Especially with putting our house on the market, it needed some curb appeal! I was so glad when Old Time Pottery wanted me to show you some of their outdoor décor! They truly have the prettiest planters […]
Did you know February 13 is Galentine’s Day? It’s Valentine’s Day for just your girlfriends! I think that is pretty cool! So in honor of Galentine’s Day, I put together a quick treat table for my two favorite gals 🙂 This table was super simple and the girls loved it. I bought a bouquet of […]

Oh what a great idea! I love how you are using stuff that you would have thrown out otherwise!
I love this post Jo! I am a huge fan of natural cleaning products and I make my own. Another tip is to take a couple of drops of your favorite essential oil on a cotton ball and rub it on your lamp lightbulbs. The heat of the lightbulb will spread the sent. Got that one from Kim and Aggie 😉
I love all the great tips. I also use dryer sheets to freshen my home during the winter months when the house is all shut up.
First I always open my windows for about 5 or 10 mins. depending on how cold it is outside to get rid of stale air, then I stick a fresh dryer sheet on my rads. In minutes your home smells so fresh and lasts for hours.
Or whenever you change your furnace filter you could also add 1 or 2 dryer sheets to the front of it and it spreads the scent all through your house.
